The sixth day is dedicated to another great personality from Crete, the world-famous painter Εl Greco. Fodele, a beautiful village between Heraklion and Rethymnon, is the place where the great painter seems to have been born. It is a small paradise and an idyllic landscape to share stories not only about El Greco, but also about the place itself, with legends and fairies dancing in the running waters at night.
A visit to the beautiful city of Rethymnon before our return to Heraklion is a must.
